Sundays at 9:30a.m.
Sunday School has often been described as "the church...organized", and rightly so. You see, Sunday School IS the church. Both in form and function, Sunday School carries out the 5 essential tasks assigned to the church. Those tasks...EVANGELISM, DISCIPLESHIP, FELLOWSHIP, MINISTRY, and WORSHIP...are the foundation stones of any Great Commission church.
At Sandy Plains, Sunday School forms the basis for growing and developing individuals in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. For the seeker, new believer or the mature Christian, Sunday School offers insight into spiritual reality ...practical application of God's Word in the everyday lives of His people...so that anyone, through their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, can experience the abundant life (John 10:10) He promised. We study the Bible to better know and understand His will for a desire to truly live a Christian life. We care for those who have yet to accept Him as their Lord. And we celebrate God Almighty, the Father, for who He is and for loving us, unconditionally.
Sunday School is made up of individual classes of Preschool, Children, Youth, and Adults and are generally organized by age (for Preschoolers and Adults) or by grade (for Children and Youth).
Classes meet on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30a.m. and are open to anyone, church member or not. Additionally, short-term Bible Study opportunities are ofton available on Sunday evenings and during the week.
Please accept our invitation to come and join us for Sunday School. Give us an opportunity to meet you and begin building a lasting relationship not only with people just like yourself, but with God's Word. When you do, we believe you'll agree that this is where the Bible really comes to life!
