Sandy Plains Baptist Church has been a vibrant part of this community for over 160 years.  It includes people of many backgrounds, races, and nationalities.  We feel we are a very friendly group of God's people with sincere Christian love for one another and a spirit of acceptance of all people.  Our emphasis is on Bible study, worship, missions, and Christian fellowship.  We worship with a blended style of worship and seek for each person who worships with us to have a genuine spiritual experience.  We also offer Bible study classes for all ages.  Our Wednesday nights are combination of prayer, Bible study, children and youth activities, as well as a fellowship meal.  We are happy that you have come on-line to see our web site.  Further information on the schedule and various activities are found on this site.  Please look them over and we look forward to meeting you when you come to worship and study God's Word with us.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

As interim pastor, I would love to meet and welcome you to Sandy Plains.  I am not totally new as I served as pastor for 15 years before my retirement at the end of 2002.  As they seek a new pastor, I am serving again as interim.  It is such a joy to have this close fellowship with these loving, caring people.  Our desire is that during this interim time, we will see God doing some dynamic things in our church and in our lives.  Come and experience our joy and excitement as we worship and serve the Lord together here.
